Also on the island was world class pro kitesurfer Ruben Lenten who's judged this competition twice in a row along with nineteen-year old Karim Shawky from Egypt who had judged his first competition at Kite The Waj. The two judges chilled with the kitesurfers and spectators during the three-day event, sharing the waters with kitesurfers present on the days.
