Urban Culture Week (Day 1 to 3)

-Urban Culture Week- (Day 1 to 3)

Day 1 of the Urban Culture Week kicked off last Thursday with Red Bull BC One all-star and one of the Judges for the Bahrain Cypher, Bboy Pelezinho, who Started off the week with Day 1 of the 3 day Bboy clinic. About 20 local Bboys took part in this event, they were really pumped and energetic, showing their great athleticism. They started off with a quick warm-up session with Pelezinho and then he showed/taught them some cool moves and gave them tips about how to look confident and determined while in battle. That pretty much wrapped up Day 1 of the Urban Culture Week

Day 2 was a busy day with four workshops that took place, starting off with Dubai-based graffiti artists Sya One & Steffi Bow, who gave lectures about their works and the basic types of graffiti artists and graffiti arts. With them were two local based graffiti artists Huvil & LeonD, they gave lectures on how to be a local graffiti artist, where the hot spots are on the island for graffiti. After the lectures all those taking part and the Lecturers moved on to the roof where there were canvases set up for the Graffiti artists and the workshop participants. Sya One and Steffi Bow included their own works of art in their given spaces, at the end of the day the walls were filled with graffiti done by the artists and people taking part.
