But first all eyes will be on the first Urban Culture Week, which will take place from Thursday, April 24th till Thursday, May 1st. The Bahrain Urban Culture Week is the first of it's kind program aimed at helping young individuals and groups learn, grow and further develop their interests and skills around the pillars of Hip-Hop Culture; Rapping; DJing; Breaking; Graffiti. Professionals will be visiting the Kingdom with a couple of local based talents to conduct free workshops which include a Two day B-boy camp; How to start a music career in Bahrain; Event Production; Break-beat DJing; Urban Photography and more!
So if you have any interests in these, Show up at the Anamil Gallery in Budaiya; Schedule will be posted at the end of this post.
A number of professionals will be conducting these workshops and lectures, They are:
-DJ Outlaw (DJ Workshop)
-Nika Kramer (Photography)
-Tony Attalla (Hip Hop music production)
-MC Tamir (DJ Workshop)
-DJ Mr Tee (DJ Workshop & Lecture on Hip Hop)
-Sya & Bow (Graffiti workshop)
Now moving on to the BC One Bahrain Cypher 2014! This will be taking place on the 2nd of May at the Alumini Club, Adliya. 7PM, entrance is free.
At 2013's Bahrain Cypher, local B-boy Huey showed everybody how it's done and moved on to the finals in Egypt. This year the competition is coming back in full swing with many B-boys determined to become the Bahrain champ and eager to represent Bahrain at the finals.
Alot of excitement is building for the week long event, Register yourselves, Be there and have fun is all I ask you to do as i will be doing so myself!
